to the Multicultural Centre of Southwest Florida!

Our mission is to promote and embrace diversity in our community and to support Lee County school children of all cultures start back-to-school each year with confidence & pride! Over the past 10 years we have provided more than 20,000 Lee County school age children in need with FREE backpacks and necessary school supplies.

A group of dedicated volunteers on our Event Committee works hard each year to
fundraise and organize the Annual Back-To-School Festival & School Supply Giveaway. It has become one Lee County's BIGGEST Back-To-School outreach programs. Last year more than 15,000 people were in attendance, 2,500 children received backpacks and school supplies, and approximately 50 vendors participated by providing eye exams, fingerprinting, bicycle helmets, face painting, balloons, and rides for the kids. 

The Multicultural Centre is a private non-profit 501©(3) tax-exempt organization established in Fort Myers with the purpose of promoting programs aimed at bringing people of different cultures together and of culturally linking Southwest Florida with other communities around the world.  Contributions are tax deductible under the Internal Revenue Code Section 501© (3) and can be mailed to P.O.
